On February 27th, 2012 we lost JT Hilligoss died unexpectedly of a cardiac abnormality in his sleep.

As an avid outdoorsman, sports enthusiast, 3 sport High School athlete and WJR Alpine ski Racer, JT touched many lives and lived far beyond his very short 17 years.

Our local Hartland community has come together and established a JT Hilligoss Scholarship Fund intended to assist high school students take the next step in their lives by attending college. The criteria for the scholarship eligibility is based on JT’s role as a student athlete over his 2 ½ years of High School.

Through these efforts, the 1st Arrowhead student athlete received a $1000 scholarship in the spring of 2012.

We are all committed to JT’s memory and telling the JT story through this scholarship fund in the years to come. If you knew JT, you probably heard that he competed at State for each of his 3 years on the AHS varsity ski team. Just 6 days before his passing, he placed 11th and was a key contributor to the AHS 1st place finish at the 2012 State Championships.

Race will be (1) one run of Slalom (SL) and (1) one run for Giant Slalom (GS) Age Classes – U8, U10, U12, U14, U16, U19, U21, Masters Male and Female Overall Champion U12-U19 Awards presented to top 3 in each age class U12-U19 All racers of U8 & U10 will receive award Race order is by bib number both runs

9:30am- SL Inspection Opens

10:10am- SL race begins

11:30am- GS course set

12:30pm- GS Inspection Opens

1:00pm- Inspection Closes

1:05pm- Fore Runners

1:10pm- GS race begins
