How to gain Positive Outcomes

Did you ever notice how we live in a world of negative connotations? I wish more were in the positive form rather than the negative.

Here are some examples, dimmer switch? Why not a brightener switch? Or a stop sign? How about a Go Light? What about when someone calls a person a nerd? Why not just call them intelligent?

On today’s premier post minute we wanted to discuss how at Premier we work hard to place everything in a positive outcome.

When we speak with our customers, we discuss what the outcomes they want to achieve. These are always positive. Customers want to move forward and get better and the best way to do so is knowing what their desired outcome is.

If you know the outcome you can then work to figure out what the best solution is to make them more productive and ultimately more profitable. This way you can achieve your outcome.

If you want to look at your business in a positive connotation, then we would love for you to see how Premier works for the positive outcome.

We look forward to you becoming one of our customers, please text or email me the word “Positive” and we will help you achieve the outcome you desire.

As we have many negative connotations in our world Here is a positive quote from the baseball player Wade Boggs to remember: a positive attitude causes a chain reaction of positive thoughts, events and outcomes. It is a catalyst and it sparks extraordinary results.

We hope you have a great day and look for more positive outcomes.

No Show but still Need New Products?

No Show But Still Need New Products:

Every other year all of us in the manufacturing would attend IMTS in Chicago.

This year due to the pandemic the show was canceled.

So normally all week, we would be running around from booth to booth meeting customers at each of our manufactures we represent.

But this year, No Show, so now what? How do you find the right manufacture to work with?

On today’s premier post minute, we wanted to introduce you to one of our great vendors, Hwacheon who has many products to make you more productive and profitable.

Hwacheon has been in business for over 60 years. Whether it is a CNC lathe, CNC Mill or a die/mold machine from foundry to final assembly this is what sets them apart. So many competitors now are just assemblers of machines tools as they buy parts from whoever is cheapest, and they do not worry about what country it comes from. WRONG ANSWER!

Hwacheon believes in FULL vertical integration to provide value to their customers. From their foundry pouring all their own castings for machine bases to component machining and machine assembly. Vertical integration means total control of the machine tool quality to the very last detail. Keeping all in house....this results in long lasting, high performing machines tools with low cost of ownership.

Thank you for your time today and even though we have no IMTS this year, we can still show you more about Hwacheon either at their North American facility or at one of our many excited Hwacheon customers.

You can start by emailing or texting me the letters “IMTS” and I will share more information with you.

We look forward to you becoming one of our customers

Today is a great day, please enjoy it and continue to stay safe and healthy

Wrestling with Success

For the last week now, kids have been getting back to school but is it now business back to normal?

As school starts again this fall, it has a different feel to it.

At first, I was a little sad that summer was ending, and the kids were going back to school.

But then I realized that they have been out of face to face learning for six months.

Wow, I was a bit surprised at that but when you think about it, they have been home since March.

Young people are going to college, some for the first time but it will not be normal for a while yet.

Almost all classes are going to be virtual as this will be a new experience for them.

Some colleges are now on lock down due to outbreaks.

K through 12 will mostly be going to face to face learning with virtual options.

So, do we all notice how our businesses are different this fall, or will it just go back to normal?

will it ever go back to normal or will it be jumping forward in the new business climate?

On today’s premier post minute we wanted to discuss how to move on with our business this fall?

Business might never return to normal as nobody knows for sure.

So how do we move or jump forward as many of us cannot do business like we use too?

But even without a vaccine, the economy is growing and looking promising. So many of our customers are extremely busy as backlogs are growing.

We all need to find ways to grow our businesses especially with the improvement in the current business climate continues.

To learn more about how Premier Machine Tool can help get your business well-oiled again!

Text or email us the words “well oiled” and we will start showing you solutions that are working for our customers.

And if you are already are one of our great customers you know we are still here working to help whenever you need us.

With the weather changing outside, it is important to keep your head clear and positive. Remember business is either good or bad between your ears!

Make today a great day!

Enjoy and keep washing those hands.

Labor Day Weekend a Celebration of Laborers

We hope everyone has a great Labor Day weekend

As Labor Day pays tribute to the contributions and achievements of American workers and is traditionally observed on the first Monday in September which this year is Sept 7th.

In the wake of massive unrest and in an attempt to repair ties with the American workers, Congress passed an act making Labor Day a legal holiday in the District of Columbia and the territories.

On June 28, 1894, President Grover Cleveland signed it into law. We have now been celebrating the Labor Day holiday for the last 126 years.

On today’s premier post minute, we want to help get as many people back into manufacturing jobs as we can.

We have many of our customers actively searching for dedicated workers.

They have plenty of work but now need the people to fill these jobs.

Most of these companies could have more work if they could fill the jobs they have open.

Plus we are working with our friends who have lost their jobs due to the uncertain times and the pandemic to help get them new jobs.

So if you are looking for employees or if you are looking for work please text or email us the words “Labor Day” and we will connect you with some great opportunities.

This weekend let us celebrate all the contributions and achievements the American workers have accomplished.

Have a productive weekend, stay safe, stay healthy and continue to wash those hands!

Accepting or Frustrated with New Technology?

Accepting or Frustrated with New Technology

Can you believe how Technology has changed our lives and reshapes the way we live it.

Some people love it, and some are truly frustrated with it.

Nevertheless, we have all seen the benefits of technology as it has changed and made our workplaces easier and more efficient.

Just think how our lives would be today if Laptop computers or IPads were never invented?

we might still be stuck going to the office to work on those large units on top of our desks.

What about the telephone which use to be attached by a cord that was plugged into your house and was it was unthinkable to be mobile

but now your cell phone can go with you anywhere.

And what about the Co2 Metal Cutting laser machines that were invented in the 1960s

while most manufactures were still pushing this old technology in the last two years even though Fiber Laser machines have been rapidly replacing them.

In today’s premier post minute and we wanted to discuss our Eagle Fiber Laser technologies we offer that will make your current laser machines obsolete before you know it.

But right now, Fiber Laser technology is moving fast, as Eagle was the first with 6kw, 8kw, 10kw and 12kw machines. And back in 2018 Eagle was able to offer 15kW as we have many customers currently with these machines.

And now in 2020, we can offer 20 kw Fiber Laser cutting machines.

Most of our competition can only dream of this technology as they only offer 10kw with some trying 12kw without much success.

Eagle is transforming the flat stock fiber laser cutting business today and for years to come and this year Eagle just move the target further ahead of the competition with 20 kw.

we would love to have you as one of our customers, please text or email us the words “Eagle Technology”

and we will start with a virtual call to show you this incredible machine with the most reliable cutting head in the industry.

We look forward to showing you the Eagle Fiber Laser.

Why do we still deal with pesky salesmen?

I have been told by one of my customers that they have had an opportunity to deal with several machine tool salesman before and most of them....well the good ones are annoying and the bad ones you just don't want to have anything to do with them. Interesting???

I have another customer who said that during a long machine evaluation, the salesman was calling several times a week and was pushy. He even went above the contacts to his boss to try and get a deal. And when that did not work, the salesman’s owner called him and apologized for his salesman’s aggressiveness. The contact thought maybe it was just that salesman until that owner keep calling him just as aggressively as the salesman, even though the contact expressed that their machine had been ruled out as it was not right for them.

In today’s premier post minute, we wanted to discuss how there is a different experience available.

When I hear stories like this and most of you have them, I always ask myself- why do they keep dealing with these types of people?

We would love to have you as one of our customers, let us start with texting or emailing me the words “salesman story” and we can share one of our pesky salesman stories.

Get some Humor back into your life

Humor

Henny Youngman was a English/American comedian and musician who was most famous for his mastery of the one liners...one of his most famous was: take my wife.... please.

He wrote a simple book called the 400 traveling salesmen’s jokes back in 1966. so, I bet you can wonder how politically correct today it would be......but I must admit most of you would still find humor in it today.

With today’s craziness and uncertain times, how often do you look or find humor as a way to get through these times.

In today’s premier post minute we thought it would be good to talk humor on this Monday morning as we start the week.

With everything going on in the world and all the bad news being report, maybe it is better that we just get a little humor added in our lives to help us cop.

We would love to have you as one of our customers and share some humor. Text or email me the word “humor” and I will share a story for the traveling salesmen book. Or if you have a funny story about yourself please text or email it to me at 414-254-5150.

Enjoy some laughter today and for that matter…. every day.

Thank you and keep washing those hands!

Do your customers Perceive your Value?

How often do you ask yourself; do I want to save money or make a profit?

Studies show that 30-40% of people will buy price every time, that is the bad news for many that play in that arena: Those who sell on cheap prices do so because they know what their product is worth. Whoa....

Also, it tells me that the customer didn’t perceive any value and therefore there was none.

In today’s premier post minute, we want to give you some ideas for yourself to show value to your customers.

if 30-40% buys on police then the good news for the rest of us is that means 60-70% will buy value.

Lists that make you think and create

There is a new book coming out by Michael Heppell called 17.

It is a book about lists of 17

17 The little way to get a lot done, increase your productivity, remove wasted time and accomplish more than you ever thought possible

17 is your ultimate productivity guide,17 minutes is short enough to create a sense of urgency. Yet long enough to get something done. Michael Heppell is brilliant, and this is his first book in 8 years, and you should buy it.

I am personally excited to get my copy of his new book to read and reread.

But it made me think, Do we make time to make lists of the best things we each do in business?

In today’s premier post minute, I want you to remember back to what was best for you as history always has a way of repeating itself.

So, do you love your job? What were the best projects you have ever won? were they the most fun? And most profitable? who was there to help you get the project done? Who has been the best employees you have hired? And What were the best machines you have ever bought?

It is good time to reflect on this and see what made you most happy with each of those? Was the best project because you made a new relationship? Was the team best because they were most dedicated and confident about getting it done? Was the best employee hired because they gave it their all and cared about the job? And was your best machinery purchase because of the machine or was the dealers service and support was the best?

I challenge you today to take a moment for yourself and think how would you answer these questions?

We would love to have you as one of our customers but not before you have a chance to think about what made you most happy in the past and then call or text us the words “happy again” and we will get you your copy of the book 17 plus we will set up a meeting to discuss how we can help.

What do all these promises mean?

Why do so many Machine Tool Dealers make so many promises? Some say their mission is to make sure your machinery operates in top condition. Isn’t this obvious that the equipment your sell should run at top condition?

Or some say what to know that makes us great? Why do you have to tell us you are great?

Or the best one, we have the lowest prices in town. This one tells me you have no value, so you just drop your price to compete.

On today’s premier post minute, we wanted to let you know we are letting our customers do the talking.

Our best customers become our friends and friends will do anything for each other.

So ask around to some of our customers and see what they say about us. And also ask about our products and see how they help make them more productive and most importantly profitable.

At Premier, we are not going to tell you how great we are, we will let our customers and vendors do the talking.

We would love to have you as a customer or better yet another one of our friends.

Satisfied Customers or Loyal Customers?

We have been extremely busy helping some of our most loyal customers lately, notice I did not say satisfied customers. I said loyal customers.

So, let me ask you, would you like to be a Satisfied customers or loyal customers?

In today’s premier post minute, We wanted to discuss how our loyal customers are our most successful customers.

When you think about It, I would never want a customer to be just satisfied! I heard it put another way from a young man named Jeffrey Gitomer. Would you want your wife or husband to be satisfied or loyal? Whoa when you put it like that it makes you think.

I personally would take loyal all the time as they will continue to buy from us because of that loyalty.

And that is a big part of our success, we have loyal customers who become our friends and we do whatever it takes even if our ass falls off.

We also have vendors that are not only loyal to us, but we are total loyal to them.

If you want to experience loyalty with your machine tool vendor, you can reach out to us.

We would love for you to become one of our loyal customers.

How to Smell Your Success

A friend of mine texted me the following quote that is credited to former Basketball player Carmelo Anthony:

Every morning you have two choices; continue to sleep with your dreams or wake up and chase them! Oohhh

or how about this one from anonymous:

You are free to make whatever choice you want, but you are not free from the consequences of the choice.

Whoa......How are you Smelling your success?

In today’s premier post minute, how can you can smell your success with the ideas we provide?

We have many potential customers who are looking for machinery and they spreadsheet all of them. but is that the best way to smell their success? On the spreadsheet they check all the machines and see who has the fastest rapids, or biggest travels and then the ultimate one; who has the lowest price?

At Premier, our customers understand that our prices are firm but fair as our most successful customers believe in us and that is why they partner with us to find the right answer. You may have heard me say before; Most people take the “band-aid” approach by just buying another machine. Wrong answer. There is a better and more comprehensive way to solve your productivity and profit needs. When you partner with Premier, we help you smell your success.

We look forward to you becoming one of our customers.

Let us start by calling or texting me the words “success” and we will start with a free evaluation of which solutions will be the right answer for you.

Today is an amazing day, enjoy yours!

Machine Tool Builder or Just an Assembler

As a young man who is relatively new in the manufacturing industry, I was pretty shocked to learn in a short time of how many manufacturers there are for machine tools.

I was just as shocked to learn some differences between assemblers and true builders… which made me think, do you know who really builds your machine?

Hi, I'm Matthew Gintert with Premier Machine Tool Midwest and on today’s episode of the premier post minute I’m going to share some of the critical things I have learned in what makes a quality machine tool builder.

The first thing I noticed was how many builders are really only assemblers and not true machine tool builders. Most are not pouring their own bases. Most are buying their spindles and tool changers from multiple suppliers? But how do you know? (Point your finger at the viewer)

The second thing I noticed was component inconsistency, have you ever had two of the same machines that you thought were identical only to learn they don’t have the same components in them. You learn they used one brand of ball screws or spindle bearings on Monday because they were cheaper and easier to source and then use a different brand on Tuesday? Which day was your machine build on?

Working with Premier Machine Tool has been absolutely amazing because we only do business with manufacturers that actually build the entire machine. Which results in the highest quality machine tools and focuses on customer satisfaction as their number one goal.

Wouldn’t it be nice to see inside of the factory and see if they are truly a builder or just an assembler? Most today are just assemblers who are looking only at profit and not building a quality machine tool.

How about learning how to join the Premier virtual tours that we will be hosting over the next few months to show you some true machine tool builders. Call or text the words “true builder” to (262) 254-5150 and we will connect with you with more details so you can join us in these virtual tours.

Graduate to a New Experience

Last Week, as I attend my sons High School Graduation I watched as he completes one part of his life and now opens a new chapter as he next moves on to College.

I thought of how many potential customers might be dealing with one manufacturer or machinery vendor who they may not be totally excited with their experience and are looking for something better in their next chapter.

In today’s premier post minute - We want to discuss the Premier Machine Tool Experience.

When looking for a machine most guys take the "cookie cut" approach and offer this model or that model and force customers to use a spreadsheet to see who might work best?

But what if you could have a distributor who was different and came with Ideas. Not one idea, but more than one to give you solutions to find the right answer.

Wouldn’t it be great if they worked to better understand your expectations and goals. Not their goals, Your Goals!

If this sounds like the partnership you would like to be part of, we would love to have you as one of our customers.

So if your thinking you also need to graduate to a new experience like all those High School Graduates this year then lets talk.

Let us start by having you call or text us the word “graduation” and we will start with a free evaluation of which solution will be the right answer for you.

This is going to be a great day and please make it your great day.
