GROB Systems is among the world’s largest machine tool builders with a full range of production and universal machining centers manufactured in Bluffton, Ohio as well as Germany, Brazil and China. All replacement parts and factory service are available from the 400,000 square foot manufacturing facility in Ohio.
Based on a proven horizontal machining center platform, GROB 5-axis machining centers are like no other. They are highly precise, remarkably low maintenance, and ideal for shops requiring ultimate precision and accuracy. Choose from the most popular CNC platforms. All GROB machines are MTConnect® compliant with an optional adapter.
The unique retractable spindle virtually eliminates the chance for collisions while maximizing the usable work area, Requires less floor space than other machines with the same work zone (buy one size smaller!)
Manufacturers can choose from popular CNC control platforms including Siemens, Heidenhain and Fanuc, More options are included as standard compared to other machine. A wide range of automation is available
readily adapt to changed conditions and synchronize our principles of operation.
GROB universal machining centers are a continuous development of the G-module designed to be used in production systems.
The current range of products consists of the G350, G550 and the G750, which have excellently proven themselves in various applications in all industries.
The general structure of the universal machining centers is similar to that of the G-modules. The X- and Z-axes are located on the tool side, the Y-axis and others (A/B-axis) are overhung in the workpiece. This principle applies for both existing sizes and is also being used in the next larger machine type, the G750. The vision – high-tech products for highest approval.
