New prospects for STEELMASTER metal grinding machines with LISSMAC
We are pleased to inform you that Lissmac Maschinenbau GmbH has taken over the Steelmaster product series from the company Btfering Schleiftechnik GmbH with effect from 01 April 2012.
As Homag Group AG wishes to merge its subsidiary Btfering Schleiftechnik with another subsidiary, Weeke Bohrsysteme GmbH, Lissmac Maschinenbau GmbH in Bad Wurzach has taken over the entire product series of the metal machine segment and will continue to market them under the name Steelmaster.
With the takeover of the Steelmaster metal processing machines, we not only safeguard jobs in Beckum but also open up new development opportunities and new markets for the Steelmaster product series. Production of the Steelmaster metal processing machines is to remain in Beckum and we also want to expand the location with a service and demonstration centre for Northern Germany and the adjacent Benelux countries. In the interests of customer proximity and an improved degree of service, we will present the complete operational range of Lissmac products in Beckum. By the end of the year we will therefore have a further location in Germany at which our esteemed customers can test the machines and experience the efficiency of the products first hand
